The Best Place On Earth

Today Kelley, Hailey, and our friend Jane drove to Camp Monterey (an all girls camp) in Monterey, TN. Kelley and Jane used to be campers there, and we decided to drive up for an afternoon visit. First, we went by Camp Country Lad (an all boys camp) to visit my Uncle. While we were there Hailey was able to ride a horse. It's name was Lucky.

Next, we drove the Mennonite General Store where we ran into Pam from camp. The General Store has always been a camp favorite! Next, we made the drive down the Big Hill and into Camp Monterey. We saw Mary Scott in the office, then we ran across Terry and Karen. Next, we found Meagan and Sophie. We went down to the canoeing dock, and tried to persuade Hailey to go canoeing, but I think she was a little uneasy about how the boat moved in the water. Then it was time to free swim. We changing into our bathing suits and went swimming the lake.

After swimming we changed clothes, and saw Keith, the camp director, who invited us to stay for dinner and campfire. So of course we stayed, ate, sang songs, and went to campfire.

Between dinner and campfire Hailey had alot of fun playing tetherball and we finally convinced her to sit in the canoe.



We had a great time seeing old freinds and having fun at camp.

Water Fun

Today Diane and Laura Beth came over to our house and the girls had a water day. We got out the baby pool and the sprinkler for the girls to play with. As well as our 'beach toys'. Here are some pictures that Laura Beth took.

Gymnastics

Here are some pictures from Gymnastics. We only have two more weeks left. But she has actually learned a lot. She can do a forward roll, touch her feet to the bars, to the "bear walk" across little kid sized parallel bars, etc.... all of which she couldn't do before hand.

One year older....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDDADDY!!!

Today we went over to Mimi and Granddaddy's house for Granddaddy's Birthday! We had Pizza, Cake, and Ice Cream. For his birthday we had eye surgery. He had one eye done that day and the other eye done the next week. In the pictures if you look real closely you will notice that he has one lense is popped out of his glasses. Kelley made his birthday cake. In the pictures below notice Hailey's present to him, and the bath and body works soap (he really likes this one scent, which I can't remember the name). Haha!

Jump Zone

Today, Hailey and I went to the Jump Zone with Diane and Laura Beth. The JumpZone is an indoor inflatable 'playground'. It was the second time Hailey had been, and the first time Hailey and Diane had been together. The girls had a great time. They enjoyed climbing and sliding. Hailey's favorite slide was the Fire Truck.
